The whole Benidorm is like a one huge bazaar where shopping is undoubtedly one of the best things to do in Benidorm. There are over 1,600 shops of all kinds covering a total of 114,000m2 of sales area in Benidorm.

Many popular shops in Benidorm are located in the Avenida Martinez Alejos of the Benidrom Old Town. The shops along the Passaig de la Carretera (Paseo de la Carretera) are worth a visit and visitors may find good leather goods around the Plaza Mayor.

In addition; the Levante and Rincon de Loix districts of Benidorm also popular for their top fashion boutiques, designer shops, supermarkets, gifts and souvenir shops.

Benidorm Shopping Center La Marina is a shopping mall located in the commercial area of Finestrat. It is one of the biggest shopping malls in the Costa Blanca region. La Marina has three floors and visitors may find variety of goods, designer shops, sports wear, toys, souvenirs, retailers like Mango, Zara, Casa, Ale Hop, Douglas, Druni, C&A, H&M and more. There are also food court, snack bars and cinema. Also the Carrefour supermarket is a great one where visitors may find British and English food.

The Street Markets in Benidorm
Street markets are also popular shopping areas like in all holiday towns in the world. The street markets in Benidorm offer variety of goods with great bargains for the holidaymakers. Visitors are able to find additional information about the regions' street markets at the Benidorm tourist information offices, agencies and hotels. Mercadillo de Foietes (every Wednesday) is the popular one located in the district to the north of the Centre the municipal alongside the sports centre. Benidorm Outdoor Market (Mercadillo Pueblo) (every Wednesday, also open on Sundays) is the other popular one located in the Levante area beside the Hotel Pueblo, on the Avenida de l’Almirall Bernat de Sarrià. Mercadillo El Cisne (every Sunday and on one Saturday every month) is the one located around the old N-332 in the direction of Alfas del Pi. Shopping hours in Benidorm
Shops are mostly open from 10.00 am. in the morning until 02.00 pm. in the afternoon. Shops are mostly closed during siesta time between 02.00 pm. - 04.00 pm. and open after 04.00 pm. and 05.00 pm. until 08.00 pm. in the evening. The big supermarkets mostly open from 09.00 am. till 09.00 pm.
